Phung & Andrew’s Wedding Welcome Dinner in Cabo, Mexico

One of the best things about destination weddings is that your wedding is not just a one-day event.  Most guests arrive at your destination at least one or two days prior to the wedding day, and the celebration usually begins with the wedding welcome dinner/rehearsal dinner.

Just like Phung and Andrew’s wedding at the Cabo Surf Hotel in Cabo, Mexico last month, they started out their wedding weekend with an amazing welcome buffet dinner right on the beach (something that we can never do in Hawaii)!  One of the restaurant chefs was on hand making fresh tacos right in front of the guests, and they had a separate station for all the fillings like fresh tomatoes, salsa, guacamole, red onions, cheese, shredded cabbage, cilantro, sauteed peppers… and a few other chefs were serving beef, chicken, fish and rice to complete the dinner.  It was incredible!

Right after dinner, DJ Music Phreek provided fun dance music and everyone moved over from the dining area to the outdoor lounge for some dancing by the bonfire and s’mores!  What a great way to kick off the wedding weekend.  We absolutely cannot wait to share the rest of the wedding photos after we have the “Viewing Party” with Phung and Andrew in April.  Stay tuned…
